I think as a consumer, we spend a lot of money on products that don’t have any intent to give back. Now that we have the options and resources to buy from brands that contribute to the well-being of our environment, it seems ethically imperative to do so. Everyone loves the feeling of making a positive difference. One of the best ways to do this when you’re faced with holiday shopping (or for any occasion) is supporting brands that also donate to amazing causes. It is my hope that these companies will continue moving forward with their initiatives and that both their profitability and popularity will eventually hold other companies accountable to do the same.
